The Cape Verde cavaquinho differs from the Portuguese by the scale length and the size of the harmonic box. Its natural tuning is the same as the Brazilian cavaquinho (D-B-G-D, from high to low). The cavaquinho Artimúsica CV60S is handmade built in Portugal and has a solid spruce top.
