The classic APC 1C OP ½ guitar is a great instrument for small musicians. Ideal to offer great future guitarists from home.
The ½-size APC 1C OP is designed for children ages 5 to 9, who may already have a reliable, rugged, and comfortable instrument for their size. Manufactured with the same mastery of the other APC instruments, this guitar has a solid cedar top and mahogany arm. The scale is in black African wood.
The bottom and sides are in sapelly, a wood from West Africa, denser than mahogany, which compensates for the small dimensions of the body with a brighter sound, maintaining a consistent and balanced tone.
The classic APC 1C OP ½ guitar retains all the characteristics of a normal sized guitar manufactured by APC. Simple in appearance, it is made to withstand the most undisciplined hands and the passage of time, with high gloss finish.
APC was born in 1976 by the hand of António Pinto Carvalho, to specialize in the construction of chodophones. It was at 10 years old that its founder began to learn the art of building guitars and cavaquinhos, by the hand of the grandfather.
Nowadays it is the largest portuguese company in the industry, with around 50 employees, which give authenticity and a personal touch to each instrument, manufactured with the most advanced construction technology, for greater precision and accuracy. Modernity and tradition are the key of this company that promotes with pride the Portuguese cultural tradition.
Despite the small size and perfect for moments of music and fun, this guitar is no joke. Ideal for little ones to learn chords, be they bigger or smaller.
