The recorder or bevel flute is a musical instrument of blow that consists of a tube with eight holes, the notes of music being produced by the action of covering or uncovering the holes with the fingers. One of the holes is for the thumb, which serves as an octave key.
The origin of this instrument lies in the ancient folk instruments that can still be found in various parts of Europe, such as the 10-hole czakan (Hungary) or the double flute of (former Yugoslavia).
It is very used in the musical initiation, being necessary to learn the techniques to touch.
There are two typing systems currently used, the German system and the Baroque system. The flutes for these typing systems differ only slightly in the diameter of the tube and in the positioning of some of the holes.
