All musical instruments sold benefit from a two (2) year warranty against manufacturing defects, counted from the date of purchase, except for new pianos that have a five (5) year warranty. In cases where the warranty is three (3) years or ten (10) years, these terms are duly indicated on the product page, as well as the guarantee of (1) one year for used pianos.
For new products, if it proves that there is a manufacturing defect, it is up to the Salão Musical de Lisboa, by its free decision, to promote, at its expense, the repair of the property or replace it with another identical one, in a state of new .
Excluded from the warranty above are any products that have been modified or intervened by not previously authorized third parties and in writing by the seller.
The aforementioned right applies exclusively to products made available through the Online Store, and is not applicable in case of ordering goods that are not included in the Online Store catalog. Purchases of products not included in the Online Store catalog do not apply to the aforementioned legislation, and orders must be made in person at the Seller's Store or in writing (by post or email).
Any return of the product under warranty must be part of a prior agreement with the seller. For this purpose, the buyer should contact the seller's after-sales service and formulate his request by e-mail. Within 14 days of being informed of the decision to terminate the contract, Salão Musical will reimburse the consumer of all payments received, including the costs of delivery of the item pursuant to paragraph 2 of article 13 of said Decree -Law.
In order to facilitate repayment, it is suggested that the customer indicate by email to Salão Musical which IBAN to which they wish to be reimbursed by bank transfer.
This right applies only to purchases made at a distance from this Online Store.
In order to resolve any conflict resulting from purchase issues made through the Online Store, the Law of Portugal will apply and the Courts of the District of Lisbon will be competent, with express waiver of another forum.
