The LP480 afuche is similar in shape to the traditional Brazilian afuches, but is more resistant due to the shell making material. It also has a wider dynamic range and produces longer lasting sounds than traditional afuche.

Specifications:

High-strength plastic shell, wood handle and beads, strung with a durable nylon cord.

LP's more durable version of the original fragile Brazilian casaba.

When played, it yields a bright and lively sound with greater dynamic range and durability than its predecessor, yet with the same shape and playing feel.
