The Electro-Harmonix Op-Amp Big Muff Pi is a faithful reissue of the legendary late-70s fuzz pedal, famous for its massive, crushing sound. Used by Billy Corgan on the Smashing Pumpkins’ iconic Siamese Dream album, it delivers heavy rhythm tones, wall-of-sound distortion, and searing leads. Unlike traditional transistor-based Muffs, it relies on op-amps and three gain stages, producing unique crunch and sustain. With Tone, Sustain, and Volume controls plus a Tone Bypass switch, this compact, rugged pedalboard-friendly unit brings vintage power to modern players. Includes 9V battery.
