Electro-Harmonix Pico Triboro Bridge

The Electro-Harmonix Pico Triboro Bridge combines overdrive, distortion, and fuzz in a single effects pedal for electric guitar.

The Pico Triboro Bridge offers three forms of saturation, each with its own behavior, in a particularly small package, with enough power and versatility to go from a light sound boost to rough and intense textures.

Overdrive, distortion, and fuzz each have their own stories and sounds. The first adds warmth and gain while maintaining some of the guitar's dynamics; distortion produces a more pronounced saturation, suitable for riffs and solos; fuzz takes the signal to a more compressed and aggressive territory. If you normally need a dedicated pedal for each of these effects, on the Triboro Bridge, you can switch between them using the Type button, with each texture identified by the colors green, orange, and red.

In Overdrive mode, the gain ranges from subtle saturation to a fuller sound, useful for adding intensity to a phrase or highlighting a solo. In Distortion, the gain range increases, and more aggressive rhythms and sustained notes appear. Fuzz mode transforms the guitar's texture, with dense saturation that can be shaped in a much more radical way.

The Volume and Gain knobs regulate the output level and the amount of saturation, respectively. In Overdrive and Distortion modes, Bass and Treble function as a two-band equalizer: they can boost the bass, take some weight off the sound, or adjust the brightness without changing modes.

In Fuzz mode, these two knobs take on different functions. Bass/Gate now regulates the noise gate threshold, useful for creating abrupt cuts between notes or controlling noise during pauses. Treble/Tone adjusts the cutoff frequency of a resonant low-pass filter, which alters the brightness and can produce more closed and unusual tones.

The Input Contour function acts before saturation, reducing bass and boosting mids for a more focused attack. The circuit is digital, with mono audio and buffered bypass. The pedal consumes 100 mA and includes a 9.6 V adapter.

Electro-Harmonix thus brings together different intensities and textures in a pedal that takes up little space, suitable for guitarists who want to explore various sounds without needing three separate effects.

If you need a versatile and highly capable pedal, the Electro-Harmonix Pico Triboro Bridge is your connection to high-gain sounds, with the Electro-Harmonix quality guarantee.
