The Mollenhauer 1054 recorder offers a perfect combination of wood and plastic, for those who want the reliability of plastic without sacrificing the warm sound of wood. It is easy to touch and has a consistent response thanks to the use of special high quality plastic in the production of the headpiece.

The lower part, made of pear wood, provides the warm sound of the instrument, with more than 80% of the resonance coming from the internal hole of the wood surface.
The combination of high quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship creates an excellent price-quality ratio. Cleaning is easy thanks to the chlorine-free ABS plastic head, which can be easily washed with water. The design itself is the result of a long collaboration with the recorder teachers.
