The sound of the djembe is obtained by the percussion with the palms of the hands, being possible to obtain muitops different sounds. In the center produces a serious and vibrant sound, near the rim is sharp, almost metallic. You can get nuances of the sound by tapping your fingertips or using one hand to muffle the skin.
