Specifications: 

  • Durable white fiberglass body is wrapped with a lattice of Jenigor plastic beads.
  • Loud, high-pitched shaker and rattle sounds.
  • Protective rubber ring surrounds the mouth of the shekere.
  •  The beads are hand strung with synthetic cord that allows the beads to move freely and gives the player complete control for the most complex rhythms.


Latin Percussion is an American brand, which emerged in the 1960s to fill the lack of Cuban percussion instruments in the United States, due to the commercial embargo imposed by Washington to Cuba.
