The Gretsch G2622T Streamliner Center Block Double-Cut with Bigsby Dark Denim combines the classic elegance of hollow-body guitars with a construction prepared for playing with intensity, without losing definition.
With a Dark Denim finish, aged white fretboards, and imitation tortoiseshell fingerboards, the Gretsch G2622T has a strong visual identity. The arched laminated maple body maintains the wide and distinctive silhouette of the Streamliner.
The center block inside the body reinforces the structure and helps control feedback when increasing volume or gain. At the same time, it preserves some of the resonance associated with a hollow body, creating a sonic base with good attack, sustain, and space to explore different dynamics. The nato neck, glued to the body, has a Soft “C” profile, a 24.75-inch laurel fingerboard, and 22 medium jumbo frets, a comfortable combination for chords, bends, and melodic phrasing.
The two Broad’Tron BT-3S pickups give the G2622T a full-bodied and defined voice. The mids come through powerfully, the bass remains firm, and the highs are clear and smooth, allowing you to work with both clean sounds and higher levels of saturation. The three-position selector chooses the bridge pickup, the neck pickup, or both together, while the independent volumes, master tone, and master volume leave plenty of room to balance the sound directly on the guitar.
The push/pull system adds coil splitting and opens the way for lighter, more clipped tones from the same humbuckers. This possibility becomes useful when they move from dense accompaniments to parts with more space or want to change the texture of the sound without changing instruments.
The Adjusto-Matic bridge works in conjunction with the Bigsby B70 vibrato, allowing you to introduce subtle pitch oscillations. The nickel-plated hardware, sealed tuning pegs, Neo-Classic markers, and Radio Knob buttons complete a set where the Gretsch aesthetic appears in every detail.
