In this Standard version, the ergonomics of the double-cutaway body, the three-pickup configuration, and the classic Stratocaster spring tremolo bridge appear in a modern design, suitable for practice, rehearsals, and the stage.
The poplar body has a glossy polyurethane finish and maintains the contours associated with the Stratocaster. The bolt-on maple neck features a Modern “C” profile and a satin finish. The maple fingerboard measures 25.5 inches, has a 9.5-inch radius, and 21 medium jumbo frets. It's a comfortable combination for chords, bends, vibratos, and melodic phrases, and allows for an easy grip.
The SSS configuration features three Fender Standard Single-Coil Strat ceramic pickups, designed by Fender for high output without losing the model's sonic identity.
