Description

The Ibanez M510E-BS mandolin is an electric instrument for playing folk music on stages in front of large audiences.

Folk music is made everywhere and in groups, but to play it in front of crowds you need an instrument that can be connected to a sound system. The Ibanez M510E-BS electric mandolin is the ideal instrument for playing in sessions with small groups in acoustic mode or on stages for large audiences in amplified mode.

The Ibanez M510E-BS mandolin benefits from Ibanez's enormous experience and history in building acoustic instruments. The body has an A-style shape, with a spruce top that has two f-shaped cutouts, with the bottom and sides being made of sapele. The neck is in okoume and the fingerboard is in amaranth, with white markers. The Brown Sunburst finish makes it a very beautiful and appealing instrument.

The pickup is done by a magnetic pickup with simple volume and tone controls. The magic is in the hands of whoever touches it.

The mandolin is essential in folk, bluegrass and country styles, due to its higher sound and melodic personality, being widely used to establish themes and perform solos.

The origins of the mandolin are Italian, but it has found space in other traditions. The mandolin is one of the most representative instruments of traditional Anglo-Saxon music, particularly Irish and North American, and can be heard in jigs, reels and in American folk music, where it is used to play country and bluegrass.

The American mandolin even has a particular appearance, with two fs cut into the body, like violins. The similarities don't end there, as both are tuned the same way, although there are regional and style variations: G, D, A and E.

Ibanez is one of the three most popular guitar brands in the world. Its history began at the beginning of the 20th century manufacturing acoustic instruments, a tradition and knowledge that has been developed over the decades and is applied to the construction of high quality modern instruments, applying the most recent technologies and the most sustainable materials.

Amplify folk music with the Ibanez M510E-BS mandolin.
