Handcrafted with the expertise of APC artisans, the APC 9C classical guitar has a solid cedar top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides. These woods provide not only an excellent structure but also a rich sound, with a good presence of bass ranges that give more body to the sound.
The neck is in mahogany, with a very comfortable cutout, perfect for those who are still developing the technique. The fingerboard, in black African wood, is made to be used intensely for a long time. The APC 9C has an open-pore finish and the traditional look of a classical guitar, but with a fantastic decorative detail on the head that makes it stand out from the rest of the models.
APC was founded in 1976 by the hand of António Pinto Carvalho, to specialize in the construction of chordophones. It was at the age of 10 that its founder began to learn the art of building guitars and cavaquinhos, through his grandfather.
