The Takamine GY11ME-NS is a parlor guitar, with a body designed in the New Yorker format. It's the smallest of the Takamines, with great sound quality at a great price.

Takamine guitars are known for their shapes based on larger models like the Jumbo or Grand Concerto, but this Takamine GY11ME-NS CW is an exception. Only in terms of dimension, because for the rest it is at the same level that the Japanese brand has accustomed the musicians who prefer it.

The Takamine GY11ME-NS is the smallest of the Takamines for sale. The New Yorker shaped body is basically parlor sized, which gives it a very defined, clear and very pleasant sound.

The Takamine GY11ME-NS case is made entirely of sapel. The neck is in mahogany and the fingerboard is in laurel. The satin finish gives it a certain refinement, a very discreet appearance and a classic touch given by the traditional open cut head with a 3x3 layout for tuners.

It may be unobtrusive in appearance, but it's fantastic in sound. With a very defined and well-balanced sound, with no frequency overlapping, the GY11ME-NS fits perfectly into the final mix of styles such as blues, folk, acoustic indie and country. But the possibilities are always in the hands of the person who touches it.

The Takamine GY11ME-NS's natural sound takes on yet another dimension with the brand's TP-4T preamp, with built-in tuner. The TP-4T system has controls for bass, mid, treble, and a gain knob. The 9 volt battery is placed in the pre-amplification module, which makes its use more practical.

Takamine has been manufacturing guitars since 1951, having been at the forefront of producing musical instruments with innovative features and high quality. In the 1970s, he revolutionized electroacoustic models, offering an amplified sound very close to the original, producing instruments with an innovative design. Takamine guitars are played by musicians such as Ry Cooder, Jon Bon Jovi, Bruno Mars, John Scofield and Bruce Springsteen.

To record or play when inspiration strikes, the Takamine GY11ME-NS New Yorker is a guitar that gives you enormous pleasure to play and listen to. It's perfect for versatile musicians who are passionate about the acoustic guitar sound and who like to explore a variety of musical styles while looking to develop their technique.
