The John Packer JP134 is  a C-piston trombone for musicians of all levels.

If you play a piston wind instrument and like the sound of the trombone, the John Packer JP134 is the ideal compromise for you. Practical, resistant and durable.

Made of brass, the John Packer JP134 has a 203mm hood that provides good sound projection at the end of a 12.3 mm wide tubing. The finish is golden, in a showy and original final result due to its particular configuration. It has three pistons and the tuning is in C.

The piston trombone is an addition to the collection of any musician who plays the trumpet or other piston instrument and wants to have a greater range of sound and interpretation at their disposal.

It is also a perfect instrument to transfer students from piston instruments to the rod trombone, accustoming them to the characteristic sound of this instrument.

The John Packer JP134 also features a very easy to use JP605 mouthpiece and a very light and resistant rigid case for easy storage and transport of the instrument.

The trombone is an aerophone from the family of metals, which appeared in the 15th century. It has a lower sound than the trumpet and higher than the tuba and its name means big trumpet. It has been a fundamental part of the metal sections of various types from orchestras, philharmonic bands to big bands.

The rod version works by moving a plunger to give the different notes, with the particularity of being able to make glissandos, which allows it a unique expressiveness. The JP134 is a piston version, with a mechanism similar to the traditional trumpet.

For over 40 years, John Packer has been the British brand of reference for wind instruments. Manufactured to a high standard of quality, all John Packer instruments have a 2-year warranty covering any production defect.

The John Packer JP134 is an original and fun option for versatile musicians who want to broaden their range of musical choices.
