The Kawai CA99 is an 88-key digital piano that provides an authentic playing and listening experience. The sound is from a Kawai Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand piano, faithfully reproduced by SK-EX Rendering technology. By activating SK-EX rendering, you can choose from ten different prepared piano types, from Classical and Romantic to Jazz and Boogie.
The Grand Feel III keyboard combines realistic materials, movements and mechanisms to recreate the exceptional touch of the finest concert grand pianos. The keys are made entirely from long pieces of wood, with fine-grained ivory and ebony surfaces applied to absorb moisture and offer greater touch control.
The action is of high quality. The long wooden pieces have the same distance to the key rest as KAWAI grand pianos, allowing a more balanced touch across the entire range of the keys and greater fluency and expression.
