Description

The Yamaha YRS321 is a three-piece soprano recorder in C.

Sing hymns of joy with the Yamaha YRS321. Composed of three pieces, it is made of highly durable ABS plastic. The pieces are removable, allowing for more effective cleaning. This instrument is designed for young children, very durable and practical, and easy to maintain.

The Yamaha YRS321 uses the German fingering system, with eight holes, and is tuned in C. It offers ideal air resistance for better control over the sound, making tuning easier, even for the most demanding pieces. It is a very accessible instrument, but it is more than just child's play; it can be used to compose and perform simple melodies by those who enjoy the sweet sound of the recorder.

The recorder is very popular for musical initiation for school-age children and in music therapy, as it is easy to learn, but it is also very interesting to play with other instruments. It's also a challenge for more advanced musicians who want to use this simple instrument to create melodies with its sweet, recognizable timbre.

Also known as the recorder, the recorder is a woodwind instrument that was very popular in the Middle Ages, particularly in Central Europe. It has a fixed reed (bevel-cut, hence its name) and eight holes that produce the notes of the C natural scale. It is a simple melodic instrument, often used as a solo instrument.

The composer who dedicated the most pieces to it was Vivaldi, who composed many concertos for the recorder, both for alto and soprano. In addition to the natural notes of the scale, sharps can be produced by covering only half of the hole corresponding to the note (as long as they are not E or B, of course).

To keep it in good condition, the Yamaha YRS321 comes with a protective case.
