Matthias Hohner founded Hohner in Trossingen, Germany, in the year 1857. It is the world leader in the market for harmonicas and accordions.

Hohner instruments strongly influenced the development of the Blues, became a vital part of folk music traditions around the world, played a significant role in the continuing evolution of Jazz and found their place on the stage of the classical concert. Nowadays, Hohner continues to develop new instruments and improve existing instruments, always with the intention of allowing everyone everywhere to enjoy music.
