Savarez

Savarez manufactures strings for guitar and other string and bow instruments, the strings for classical guitar being better known.

It was founded in 1770 in Paris. At the time the ropes were made of gut. Between 1880 and 1930 are introduced new materials: silk, steel, brass and brass. The appearance of nylon comes in 1930, but the greatest development of the Savarez occurs in 1950 with the creation of the strings for classical guitar with 3 different tensions.

In 1980 he began to manufacture Corelli Crystal strings for bow instruments.
