Portwood miniatures are made from exotic aged wood naturally sourced from around the world. These woods are used in the construction of musical instruments, in fact that was how the idea came up in order to take advantage of the waste of cutting parts for guitars. The woods are from the world, but the figures are made in Portugal.

The pieces are finished by hand with natural wax to protect and preserve the wood, thus maintaining the beauty and natural appearance of the wood.
