Roland

Roland Corporation was founded in 1972. It is headquartered in Japan. It manufactures and exports electronic musical instruments, electronic equipment and software.

It began its activity with the creation of the first drum machines, the TR-33, 55 and 77, having launched the first synthesizer, the SH-1000 in 1973, JC guitar amplifiers in 1975 and the first Boss brand effects in 1976.
